i googled the name of the town where our english camp is going to be (podgorzyn), and i found these pictures:

These are not Carpathian Mountains darling but The Karkonosze Mountains on the Czech-Polish border. Karkonosze belong to The Sudetes range in the Central Europe. Wish you wonderful time in Lower Silesia/Poland!
